An effect of paid education is turning education into a commodity. And that philosophical distinction undermines the learning experience itself!

Certainly.

Education has been largely abolished in favour of "training". The shift was discussed in the debt thread, and elsewhere. It is horrifying what we have agreed to in making this a private benefit rather than a collective good
