This is the first orchid ever discovered which only flowers at night. It was only found because a license to log the area has been granted and so the area became accessible; but the logging might destroy it and anything else new there. The finder would like the logging to be called off. I think I would too, at least for a while. But who will compensate the loggers? Or should they not be compensated? I don't know who they are or what it will mean for the people who live there.

Still, a pause would be welcome if it can be achieved
