While setting up, I have identified a few problems with these boards so far, that I haven't been able to solve.

For one, there is a button next to the New Thread buttons that says "Sondaggio". That is Italian for Vote or Poll. So if you desire to make a thread with a poll, that is the button you need to have. I couldn't change this to an English button, unfortunately.

Also, I have turned off the ability for members to have animated and graphical signatures. However, the edit signature options in the user control panel do still suggest you upload signature images or use tags. That is redundant but I couldn't remove it. Signatures, including graphical ones, are on, but will be restricted to a 80 px * 500 px size.

If you find any other oddities, Italian residue, or errors, do notify us, and we'll try to see if it can be fixed (or not, but then at least you know it's not just you).

You are a criminal and a fraud. I, on the other hand, am so innocent and lovely it's almost vulgar.

I, too, have been at the JREF, but I quit there because I wanted to do some other things. Now look at me: I set up a whole new forum for critical thinking, language, and politics! These topics tie in with so many interesting issues, from novels and films, to current events, to reviewing the world directly around us, that I think it is simply difficult not to appreciate them.

Plus, I like to challenge views and be challenged in debates. And putting those interests together, you simply have to arrive at a forum, don't you... Basic maths.

To all newcomers below: Welcome!! Make yourself at home. If you promise not to bite me, I will restrain myself, too. (Let that be a warning to all you zombies out there!)

Since this forum is hosted on the forumcommunity.net framework, please try to comply with their terms of service as much as possible.

2. Refrain from posting slanderous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening and harassing comments.


3. You may have only one account with which you participate on the forum.


4. You can't post any urls before you have made 5 posts prior. (To ward off spam.)


5. a. When you are inactive for 12 months, your account is automatically deleted.


6. b. When you fail to confirm your e-mail address, your account is automatically deleted after about 2 weeks.


7. Don't be a dick.

Disputes with moderators or other members can be discussed, in a civil manner, under the 'Forum Issues' subsection. We aim to keep this a pleasant place and we hope you enjoy yourselves.
