| http://www.publicbankinginstitute.org/cana...&utm_source=pbiThe link is to a report from something called the public banking institute. I don't know anything about them. But the report is interesting. It seems that a group has brought a court case in Canada to “restore the use of the Bank of Canada to its original purpose, by exercising its public statutory duty and responsibility. That purpose includes making interest-free loans to the municipal/provincial/federal governments for ‘human capital’ expenditures (education, health, other social services) and/or infrastructure expenditures.” Apparently the court has ruled that this case is admissable, so the move to throw it out failed. I haven't read about this anywhere else, but I would like to.
